Chris Lucas has re-joined with the Bentleigh Greens which will see the forward remain at Kingston Heath until the end of the 2019 season.
The 25-year-old arrived at the Club ahead of the 2015 NPL Victoria campaign, scoring 16 goals to finish as Bentleigh’s leading goalscorer. 2016 saw the Queenslander kick on, scoring 18 goals in all competitions before having his season ended by rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
After taking 2017 to recover, Lucas is firing and ready to go to help Bentleigh achieve success in 2018 and will rejoin with fellow striker Matt Thurtell who also recently committed his future to the Greens, signing a deal that will see this season’s club Golden Boot winner stay at the Heath until the end of next season.
