Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club is proud to announce the appointment of Liam Drury as Senior Women’s Coach, effective for the 2027 season.
Drury brings a decade of senior women’s coaching experience to the role, most recently guiding Keilor Park to promotion from the VPLW before leading the club through a successful debut campaign in the NPLW. His achievements were recognised in 2024, when he was named VPLW Coach of the Year.
Prior to his time at Keilor Park, Drury built a strong coaching reputation as senior assistant at both Preston Lions and Essendon Royals, contributing to promotion-winning campaigns at each club. He holds a Football Australia B Licence and is currently studying towards his A Licence.
“I am very proud to have been trusted with this role at such a big club with good people,” Drury said. “Our aim is clear — promotion back into the NPLW, and then building one of the most successful programs in the state. I’m looking forward to implementing a program built on high-level preparation, a top culture, and an exciting brand of football.”
Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club’s leadership welcomed the appointment, highlighting Drury’s track record of success at every club he has coached and his clear vision for the women’s program moving forward.
The club looks forward to Drury leading the Senior Women’s squad into the 2027 season, with the immediate focus on returning the team to NPLW competition and establishing a program capable of sustained success at the highest level.
