Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club is proud to announce the appointment of Esteban Quintas as Senior Men’s Coach, effective for the 2027 season.
Quintas brings extensive senior coaching experience, including seven seasons with South Melbourne, where he progressed from assistant coach to leading the senior team. He guided the side to two NPL Victoria Premierships, a Dockerty Cup and consecutive Grand Final appearances, and was named NPL Victoria Coach of the Year in 2024.
He also has a strong record of developing young players and providing meaningful senior opportunities, with more than 12 young players playing key roles in his 2024 senior team. His international experience includes playing and coaching in Spain, including within the Atletico Madrid system and with Real Murcia and Hércules CF.
The club was particularly impressed by Quintas’ football philosophy, leadership and commitment to developing young players while building a strong, sustainable senior program.
“When I first arrived in Australia, Bentleigh Greens were the standard in senior men’s football,” Quintas said. “I know the history and expectations that come with this club, and I want to help return Bentleigh Greens to that level.
“That means developing players, creating the right culture and establishing a clear identity on and off the pitch. We have a great opportunity to build something special and I am excited to get started.”
Bentleigh Greens welcomes Quintas to the club and looks forward to him leading the Senior Men’s program into the 2027 season, with a clear focus on restoring the club to its position among Victoria’s leading senior football programs and building the foundations for sustained success.
