Match Preview: Avondale vs Bentleigh Greens

Bentleigh will aim to maintain strong form when they face Avondale at Knights Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Greens last played Port Melbourne at Kingston Heath last Friday night recording a 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Avondale sit in 7th position seven points behind the greens with two games in hand on Bentleigh. Last time these sides met, Bentleigh recorded a 2-0 win in a strong home performance for the Greens with goals from Andy Brennan and Matt Thurtell.
Avondale have the second best defensive record in the league marshalled by experienced goalkeeper Chris Oldfield and they’ll need to be at their stubborn best in order to keep a potent Bentleigh attack at bay which has scored seven goals in their past three league games.
In an attacking sense, the main threat for the Greens to watch is former Melbourne City player Jonatan Germano who has netted seven goals this season.
With only four games remaining in the league and a crucial FFA Cup round of 32 clash against Hume coming up, the Greens will look to continue a strong run, into the finals series.
