BG ZAPARAS MATCH PREVIEW10

The Bentleigh Greens are gearing up for another challenging NPLVIC fixture as they travel to Hume City on Saturday evening. The Greens have shown glimpses of promise under the guidance of coach Riccardo Marchioli, but have yet to consistently turn those positive performances into valuable points as they currently find themselves languishing in the bottom two of the league standings.

Saturday’s trip to Hume City Stadium will be no easy feat for the Greens, as they face off against one of the in-form teams in the competition. Hume currently sits in seventh spot on the table and are undefeated in their last three games, with wins over Moreland City and Green Gully, as well as a credible 0-0 draw against South Melbourne.

Hume’s strength lies in their depth of attacking options, with four players across the squad having scored three or more goals so far this season. The Greens’ defense will need to be on high alert if they are to keep a clean sheet and avoid any costly mistakes.

Despite their league position, the Greens will take heart from their recent performances and newfound confidence under Marchioli’s leadership. A win against Hume would be a major boost for the visitors, and could potentially kickstart a surge up the table.

The stage is set for an enthralling encounter at Hume City Stadium, and the Greens will be hoping to take full advantage of this opportunity to claim three vital points.
