Bentleigh Greens snap up Aydin Mustedanagic
The Bentleigh Greens have snapped up another hot prospect as they continue to build for Season 2023.
Aydin Mustedanagic will arrive at Kingston Heath after an impressive two years at Pascoe Vale in NPL2.
A former Melbourne Victory academy player, the pacey wide man is comfortable in various roles and said he is excited to be joining a club with such a strong track record of success in Victoria’s top flight.
“When Bentleigh came knocking, I was pretty happy to think that such a big NPL club had even contacted me,” he said.
“I had a few meetings, and I’ve never really looked back.
“I’ve only heard good things about the club, and I was impressed with what I saw with the culture there and the goals they have for 2023 and beyond, so I’m very excited to be a part of that and to try and help the club meet those goals.”
Mustedanagic said after several years of playing senior football between Victory’s NPL set-up and Pascoe Vale, he was ready to test himself at the next level.
“It was good to get a full season under the belt last year after all the disruptions of COVID, and I wanted to try and move up a level and test myself,” he said.
“And when the opportunity at Bentleigh came up, I just saw that challenge and opportunity and couldn’t say no. I’m excited about the opportunity to be a part of the club’s future.”
